Interview #1- adornyou

Okay, here it is! Interview number one. :]
Adorn You is an etsy shop that sells ultra-cute handmade jewelry.
The three words that I would use to describe her jewelry: Feminine, vintage, and unique.
Now, without further ado, the interview!

How did your business get started?
I have always loved jewelry, but while on maternity leave, I was influenced by a friend who was creating and selling gemstone jewelry.

When do you work on your earrings?
I try to work on my designs while my son is sleeping or in school, but during the summer, it is more challenging.
How do you price your items?
I do keep my prices lower than I would like, to be competitive on Etsy, therefore there is less profit.
What is your favorite item for sale in your etsy shop?
It changes all the time, but right now, it would have to be my Blossoming Lace earrings:

Do you have any other hobbies besides jewelry making? If so, what?
Yes, but very little time to do them. I like gardening, interior design and crafting. Every Christmas, I create a new Christmas tree ornament using various materials for friends and family.
How did you choose your business' name?
I wanted something that represents the beauty of jewelry and women. So, my husband and myself worked together to come up with AdornYou.
Do you advertise? If so, how?
I haven't really paid much for advertising, just Google Adwords, once in awhile. Other than that, I post my photos on Flickr, give many business cards to friends and family to hand out and give business cards out with each sale on Etsy.
Thanks so much, adornyou! Be sure to check out her etsy shop!

Getting back into the flow of things...

I'm trying to get back into the habit of posting every two-three days. So far, so good.

Scarf
I don't know if I've mentioned this scarf before. It's sooo soft and a beautiful oatmeal color. I actually had a dream about it. There was a car passing by and it got caught in the tailpipe and was pulled from my hands. I know, weird, right? :]

Bag
And I (mostly) finished my bag! I want to add a lining, a couple pockets inside, and a flap. So, yeah, mostly finished.

Craft Table
And here's a sneak peak of my "craft table." I have a lot on deck, don't I!
Stay tuned! This Saturday I'm going to have post an interview with a seller on etsy. I hope to make it a weekly thing around here. Sounds fun, right? And to finish this post off...
Lazy Cat
